Kevin brings to AGS over 30 years of experience of working in the public sector, primarily providing a range of assurance & governance services to both commissioners and providers in the NHS.

Kevin is passionate about public services and believes that good governance is a necessity in the current financial environment, and works hard to deliver effective solutions of the clients of AGS.

Kevin spent over 15 years of his career in the public sector managing teams of audit staff in delivering internal audit plans to numerous NHS clients. There were many highlights in this career, but the one he is most proud of is an award winning initiative he co-developed with colleagues in 2012 to provide governance support to emerging Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) as they prepared for statutory body status. In 2013 the initiative was included within a submission which won the National Benchmarking Institute Award; it was also ‘Highly Commended’ in the HFMA Governance Awards of the same year. In 2015, it won the CIPFA Public Service Governance Award.

Kevin has also built a reputation as a provider of effective Project Assurance, drawing on his qualification as a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
